5/5 Maniac Reviews (Indiana) - See all my reviews This review is from: Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter *Colors Vary (Toy) The Syma Helicopter is very easy to fly! I was surprised at the fact I could keep it in the air without losing control or hitting a wall! I have mastered landing it on my Remote Control Helicopter Landing pad!Can be flown indoors or outdoors. When flying outdoors the wind may effect your flying as this helicopter is very light.Has red and blue lights that flash which allows you to fly at night, pair it with a remote control helicopter landing pad and you have the perfect set up for night flying.Flying time has ranged from 7 to 15 minutes for me, flying time is less outside depending on the breeze.Very easy to control, although I have yet to master what every button on the remote does! I just press the buttons, push the joys stick in every which direction and go! Flies like a dream for me!I received this item at a discounted price in exchange for my honest unbiased review., August 30, 2015

So much fun! Even for a non remote controlled device operator such as myself!

Love this little helicopter! I got it for my nephew for Christmas but of course I had to play with it first and make sure it works. I suck at these kinds of toys I can never get them up or get them to work really at all. But I figured why not try. I put the batteries in the controller and charged it for 24 hours so that it would have a good first charge and keep a good life in the battery of the helicopter. I then took a deep breath and turned it on and got it to fly! It was really easy. It is very lightweight but a whole lot of fun. I got the yellow one in our order. The box does clearly say that although the box has a color on it, it may not be the same color inside. But all of the colors are fun! I also purchased a repair kit because I know that with a teen boy using this it will need a repair at least once! Great little helicopter that I found easy to fly. Can't wait to see his face when he opens it on Christmas. When I purchased it it was on sale. I did... 4/5 Lynn Jansen (Gulf Shores area Alabama!) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Helicopter Fun!

This Syma S107/S107G RC Helicopter is fun. Unfortunately it will not take flight. I plan on trying to troubleshoot it with other parts to see if I can fix the issue. Not really sure why it wont take flight, I followed the directions. Besides that, it does have some power. The blades spin and the acceleration is on point. It takes about an hour to charge and about 5-7 minutes battery life. I like that it has LED lights when turned on. It does have a sound, but is not extremely loud. I do have a helicopter pad that this RC fits perfect on. For the controller it requires 6 AA batteries that are not included. And the USB charger for the helicopter needs an import, like I used my android charger port. Overall the... 3/5 Kristie (Pennsylvania) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Fantastic!! If you had trouble with RC Helicopters before, try this one.

Okay, I am a 40 year old man, and on a whim last week I bought an RC Helicopter for the first time at a Target - it was more expensive than this one. I took it home and found it very very difficult to keep up in the air for more than a couple minutes - the trim wouldn't adjust, and it would always, no matter what, go forward, which made it difficult for me as a complete novice. I crashed it a few times and than it wouldn't get off the ground. I was bit by the bug enough to come on amazon, search, and sort by best review. This one was about 5$ cheaper than my first purchase, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Right out of the box, it was about 10x easier to fly. I liked it could hover, go forwards, and go backwards - so if I wound up in a corner, I could just ease the throttle and reverse instead of trying to do an insane 270 turn. Due to still not being a super pilot I still managed some spectacular crashes, and it always got right back up in the air. Everything is NOT what it may appear to be.... Caveat Emptor!

I gave this produce a 4 star review originally. It was my first drone and I think the product seemed pretty self-explanatory, despite the less than easy to understand instruction booklet.I charged it using the USB. Easy enough. I put the batteries in the remote control. Easy enough.Flew it, was slightly difficult to navigate, but it was my first time doing it. Lasted 5-8 minutes, like package said.Flew it again on the field, where there is soft grass. It fell onto the grass a couple of times. Then, the transmitter and the drone wouldn't connect. So I called customer service.Got a call from a guy named Winston within minutes. He told me to charge the drone fully. Duh, like I hadn't thought about that before.I was surprised to get a call on a Friday night at 7pm from a local number in La Puente, CA (626) 465-7134. 5/5 Fred Yanner - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Anybody who complains about this helicopter just likes to complain! For the price this thing is unbeatable. It is very well constructed considering the size of it and it's made to fly. It kind of reminds me of the Spruce Goose. It's a marvel to look at, it lights up like a Xmas tree. You might want to hover it a few times but I would not recommend constant flying. If you crash it from 20' or up it is not going to be pretty. I had my motor at idle with the lights on and it looked like the real deal ready for take off. I am going to wire hang it from my office ceiling for people to check out. ( VERY SATISFIED ) !!PS I have flown it close to the ground, 5' to 8' and this baby wants to fly.... I must have about 200 flights under my belt on the Syma s107g and now about 20 or so with my new s108g. You really can’t go wrong with the Syma micro helis. Customer Video Review Length:: 0:22 Mins My husband is a little kid again! He had so much fun unpacking and flying with this helicopter. It needs to charge first (and frequently) through a USB cord, but doesn't take long to charge. The remote control takes 6 AA batteries. It is easy to maneuver in the air and lots of fun to fly! I also love the details on the helicopter. It has already survived quite a few falls on the first day (including a nice fall onto our neighbors poolside rocks...note, this is not an outdoor helicopter! But my husband felt the need to try...and the wind took it away!) and all pieces are still working just fine.See the pictures and videos for some ideas on how it looks and flies! S108G vs. S107G vs. S109

I own four SYMA helos and they all have different characteristics.First, I purchased a red S107G for 22$ and was blown away. However, after a multitude of crashes related to hitting the ceiling my first one was beginning to show wear (rotor blades dented/chiped, broken canopy brace, led not centered, vertical stabilizer cracked awaiting it next crash to come off) within one week.Second, I purchased a second 107G and it came as yellow. The first thing I noticed was the yellow one, while completely identical other than color, was much more powerful and battery lasted longer. As a result, it was more fun and more difficult to fly than red.Third, being that I am former active duty helocopter mechanic (CH-53a,d,e, T64-GE-416) for the Marines, I bought the S108G (Cobra). Folks, the Cobra is a completely different helo all together. The collective (vertical control) is not spring loaded like the S107G. Let me save you first-timers some money...

We got this RC helicopter for our careful 8-year-old son. We gave it to him for Christmas. By day 2 it was toast. But it isn't because he was purposely crashing. If you have never flown an RC helicopter before (and we had not) practice lifting off and hovering and touching down first. Do not let off that left throttle too fast and make you helicopter blades stop spinning or an imminent crash will happen. We figured this all out too late.We bought him a replacement and emphasized that we all needed to practice hovering before anything else and work occasional steering into it. I don't think we will have a problem again. At least not for a long while! In fact, my husband and I both wanted to fly our son's chopper so we went ahead and ordered ourselves one, too. So, remember to learn to hover and to work the controls slowly and not over react and you will be golden.I think these are very well made and for the price completely unbeatable for the amount of fun they... 5/5 Momtographer (Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Cheerwing S107/S107G Phantom 3CH 3.5 Channel Mini RC Helicopter with Gyro Blue We got this RC helicopter for our careful 8-year-old son. Good, cheap fun.

4/5 cp2009 - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Cheerwing S107/S107G Phantom 3CH 3.5 Channel Mini RC Helicopter with Gyro Blue This is a nice affordable toy that's a good intro for someone new to RC helicopters.Pros:- Relatively durable- AffordableCons:- Charge plug that connects to the heli is very small and I don't know how durable this will be in the long run. Also i'm not sure if it's reversible and you can probably easily plug it in backwards. This may or may not damage it, I don't know. Can't really blame it too much for what I paid ($15).- I ordered a BLUE heli but got a RED one instead. The sticker on the box even said it was blue, but it was mislabeled. This doesn't affect the product itself but it would have been nice to have gotten what I ordered. I decided to avoid the hassle of returning it and just kept it.Overall its pretty good. A blog I follow highly recommended this particular model as a trainer before I spent ...

I gotta tell you, of all these types of mini helicopters I've tried, this one actually works. So many times I bought one and it would not fly. This flies. Not only does it fly, it survives crashes due to my ineptitude. I was turned on to this because I wanted a drone. A blog I follow highly recommended this particular model as a trainer before I spent the hundreds on a good drone. It takes about 40 minutes to charge and, unfortunately, you only get about 5-7 minutes of fly time per charge. That's really the only drawback....because once you get the hang of it you want to just keep flying. I have not let my kids try it yet so I don't know how it would survive their inexperience. Also, I have learned that the slightest bit of air flow will severely affect the flight of this. I mean....the slightest bit of air. If your A/C or heat is on and you fly by a vent, you will crash. I guarantee it. So, when I fly, I turn that of and no problems when I do. It takes 6 AA batteries for the... 4/5 Snowdoggio - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) High Quality Syma Chinook Helicopter

My husband has been trying out many different Syma helicopters lately. This is the first Chinook style he's flown. This one seemed to take a bit more getting used to. As soon as you would get it off the ground it would want to go forward instead of just up even when not using the forward or back controls. Takes a bit of getting used to but it definitely helps with hand/eye coordination. This Syma S026G definitely can take a beating though. It ran into walls, smashed into the corner of the television, and crashed to the floor multiple times and still got right back up to fly. That's what makes these totally worth it. It's great for a beginner or advanced flyer alike. My husband really enjoys the time he spends flying this around the living room and dining room and practicing his landing skills on his Eagle Pro Helipad which is available here:... 5/5 Melissa Anne (Nebraska) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Comprehensive review of this copter and all five Syma military copters

This is a comprehensive review of the Syma military line of gyro-stabilized helicopters (ends with G, as in "S102G"). You want a gyro unless you like not being able to control your helicopter. You can skip down to the notes for each copter now if you don't want detail. There is another review out there like this, and it's great to read, but it's somewhat inaccurate and leaves out valid criticisms that might alter your purchase. I will deal with invalid criticisms first (which you probably have been reading), review the choppers one by one, and then offer some neat ideas for extra fun with household "missions"--added-realism stuff you can buy for cheap, and some original ideas.Criticisms to ignoreThere are two major criticisms that are invalid--quality and durability. Any review that seems over the top ("spins out of control") is likely by someone who just got a lemon. With thousands of these manufactured in China, there's bound to... 5/5 K. Great Little Quad Rotor Helicopter

I own a Syma s107 and just had to try the Chinook for myself. What a great little machine! The trim is a little more complex than the 107 because of the front/rear drive concept but Syma have done a great job of making a potentially complex business very simple. A technological triumph.Trimming for spin is done as on the S107, with a knob set between the sticks. Trimming front/rear drift is done by clicking on the labelled buttons on the top of the transmitter. Couldn't be easier.Flight-wise the helicopter is very responsive and stable once trimmed. It has the typical gyro-stabilized contra-rotating design issue of the helicopter fighting its own forward/backward motion, resulting in this instance in a visible - but small - tendency to see-saw. As with the S107 the trick to fast forward flight with this design is to fly a serpentine path - by the time the gyro has "figured out" what the helicopter is doing and started to fight it, it isn't doing the... 5/5 Stephen Mann (NY, USA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?)
